Glazed Peaches with Ice Cream & Walnuts.

Glazed Peaches with Ice Cream & Walnuts

This dessert is easy to make and tastes great! Watching the ice cream glide over the glazed peaches entices your tastebuds. If you want to keep it silky and smooth, do not add the walnuts. If you want to experience contrasting textures, go for the toasted walnuts. Either way, you are in for a sweet and refreshing treat.

  6. Bake the peaches for 15 minutes. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Serving Suggestions

Serve with any ice cream, gelato, or sorbet of your choice, as long as it does not overpower the fruit's delicate flavor.

Drizzle caramel sauce on top to make the dessert more decadent.

You can also serve this dessert with chopped candied walnuts or almonds.

  • 1 teaspoon of brown sugar can be replaced with 2 teaspoons of maple syrup.

  • It is important to use ripe peaches.

  • This recipe also works with nectarines and apricots. If using apricots, do not use butter and use maple syrup instead of brown sugar.
